Keeping The Forum Open

I think I’ve found out why nobody’s taking advantage of Bury Forum. It’s because Bury Council in its great wisdom has decided to help the Government to quell this yob binge drinking by allowing the opening of more and more drinking establishments in its town centre. There isn’t much else to do in Bury except drink, so the younger generation who might have something to say if they hadn’t spent their money on booze instead of a PC, are too sozzled to write anything of any consequence or inconsequence. Or maybe education isn’t up to standard and those who ought to be able to string a word or two together, can’t!
It must be very depressing to have opened up a forum that nobody seems to want, so whoever you are, forum opener, I’m doing my best to bring you comfort. And for those Broadband users who might happen to find this site, Bury isn’t all that bad. It has its good points. It’s just that I’m so old I can’t remember what they are. Ah! I’ve just been reminded, it’s a lawless and some think corrupt town when it comes taking cash for car parking and painting lines for bus bays, which is probably why Tony Blair is fighting crime with a feather. Bury also has a Labour-controlled Council.
